Experience the beauty of the French Côte d’Azur with a cycling tour in Les Issambres. Whether taking in the stunning views along the Mediterranean coast or conquering the legendary routes of the Tour de France, Les Issambres is the ideal location to create an unforgettable vacation!
The Itinerary
Below are some of our favorite tours. Most itineraries start directly from the hotel. Typically, two itineraries are proposed for each day. During the evening briefing each rider will choose his or her group’s itinerary depending on his or her objectives. Mountain itineraries are chosen on a daily basis with respect of the prevailing weather conditions.
Day 1 – Bougnon Loop
Lovely itinerary looping around the hotel for 23 km and 220 m of vertical climb. A chance to check out your power capabilities and measure yourself with different setups, completely supported. 1- 4 loops, 23 to 92 km ride.
Day 2 – Testanier Mandelieu Stage, via the Riviera
Perfect mix of wild backcountry mountain riding in the Esterel with a long tour of the costal road along the Meditarranean. 93 km of riding with 1117 m of vertical climbing with a coffee stop in La Napoule facing the sea. Return via Agay, Saint-Raphael and Frejus, Roman city.
Day 3 – Mountain Passes: Canadel via Saint-Tropez
128 km. 760 m of vertical climb. Bike along the beautiful bay of Saint-Tropez, transit the village of Saint-Tropez and head into the wild coastal mountains with lovely vilages and sweeping seascapes.
Day 4 – Parc Naturel Regional des Prealps
109 km. This beautiful ride through the backcountry of the Prealps starts and ends in a natural setting, arriving by car.
Day 5 – Vignon, La Garde-Freinet, Reverdi
82 km loop with 1075 m of vertical climb. Leave the hotel via the coastal road. At Saint-Maxim take a turn northward into the backcountry for a glorious ride on winding mountain roads. Ride past the perched village of Grimaud to the Perier pass, with a beautiful view of the fortress of Verne and its vineyards and past NotreDame-des-Anges.Après le village perché de Grimaud, direction le col du Périer et la vue magnifique sur la Chartreuse de la Verne et les vignes puis Notre Dame des Anges.
Jour-6 – Roquebrune-sur-Argens
105 km/ 1000 m of climbing. This backcountry itinerary starts with the Col de Bougnon pass and can be extended to a much longer ride depending on the group level. You can admire the red cliffs of Roquebrune via idyllic, twisting backcountry roads. Don’t forget to have your camera ready for pictures of France’s “mini Colorado”.

During your tour, you have the possibility to rent one of our bikes. Verideon typically purchases spare frames from Tour de France teams and kits them out according to the demands
of the terrain for a specific tour or rider. Our on-site expert mechanics have access to a wide range of spare parts
